Camp Kesem BYU
Welcome to the homepage of Camp Kesem BYU! We are so pumped for camp this year and are excited to continue this program to Brigham Young University. This will be our second year running Camp Kesem, and thanks to good leadership and a service oriented student body we are getting things going and it is going to be a great year! Last years camp was amazing. We had 15 kids from Utah, Idaho and Colorado!!! That unforgettable week was full of games, arts and crafts, ropes course activities, and songs.
This year we are looking to have thirty kids from the ages of 6-13 spend the week with us at Camp Kostopulos in Salt Lake City. Like all other Camp Kesem programs, it's a spend-the-night camp for the kids where they can learn to kick back and have a great time for one week during the summer. This year our camp will have on-site swimming pools, fishing ponds, a ropes course, sports fields, and many other exciting new things so that the kids can just be kids. Camp Kesem was chosen to receive the Molina Healthcare Community Champion Award last year! This award "recognizes the everyday heroes in our midst. The program’s goal is to honor individuals and support agencies that inspire others through selflessness, extraordinary service and contributions that positively affect the health, well-being and lives of those around them. Winners were recognized at a dinner banquet on June 26, 2008 and awarded $1000 grants for their sponsoring organization."
Camp Information:
BYU will be holding our 5 day camp at Camp Kostopulos in Salt Lake City, Utah the 17th through the 22nd of August 2009. Like all other Camp Kesem camps around the country, the family of the kids don't have to pay anything to go to camp. It is going to be great! Please fill out an application for your child to attend camp which is located in the "campers" tab on the upper left hand side of this page.
