Co-Chairs

Semmie [Peachy]
semmie@mit.edu
Hello! My name is Semmie (better known as Peachy!) and I’m a fourth-year undergraduate studying Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Public Policy. I have been a part of the Camp Kesem at MIT team since my freshman year as a counselor, a Camper Care Coordinator and this year, as a Co-Chair. Camp has been one of my most cherished activities at MIT. I've enjoyed getting to plan and attend camp every summer -- it's something I look forward to as soon as everyone goes home each year. When not thinking about camp, I enjoy traveling, taking photos, baking, stargazing and music. I can't wait for camp 2010 -- we're all very excited to meet our new camper families and staff!

Tracy [Muffin]
kambara@mit.edu
Hi there! I'm Tracy, but at Camp I go by Muffin. I'm a Junior studying Biology and Political Science, and I am so excited for my second summer with Camp Kesem. I love to cook, dance, and sing camp songs, especially Peanut Butter Reeses Cup! I also have a weakness for butter pecan ice cream, coffee ice cream, pistachio ice cream...maybe all ice cream in general. My favorite memory from camp last summer was seeing all the campers so proud of their performances at the Talent Show. I can't wait to make more awesome memories this year!

I am super excited for camp this August and hope you all are too - it's going to be great!

Hi, my name is Lauren, but at camp you can call me Mushu (like the dragon from Mulan). When I'm not having an awesome time at camp rock-climbing, swimming and playing zombie tag, I'm at school enjoying other activites. At MIT, I am a junior biology major who loves to play lacrosse and eat chocolate chip cookies with friends. I also enjoy being an EMT with Rain and Comet. I cannot wait for Camp Kesem 2010!
Major Events Coordinator

Christina [Babby]

Hi CK families! My name is Christina but everyone at camp calls me Babby (unless they slip up!) This will be my fourth CK and I am counting down the days! I'm a senior at MIT majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Writing. Future plans include medical school and hopefully a career as a Pediatrician. It's too hard to pick a favorite camp memory because so many have accumulated throughout the years - but I love the dance parties, cabin chats, stargazing, arts and crafts, canoeing, and nature walks to the waterfall. Can't wait to see you all so soon!
