Campers - University of Illinois
Applications for summer ‘12 will be up this spring!
Camp Kesem Illinois is available to children in central and southern Illinois between the ages of 6-13 who have or had a parent who has or had cancer. Camp Kesem is a secular camp and is open to all children regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, or financial status. Due to the financial burden experienced by families with cancer, Camp Kesem is provided free of charge to the families it serves.
As CK Illinois has grown, we were able to launch a teen camp. Teen camp is open to teens ages 14-16. It will always be the same dates as our regular camp, but the teens will have many separate activities from the regular camp, including an overnight hike.
If you would like to receive more information about being a camper for either the regular or teen camp, please contact our camper care committee coordinators, Claire Maddox and Sara Kamp at campercare@gmail.com.
