Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, with considerations to balance age and gender.

Eligibility
Camp Kesem is available to children aged 6-13 who have a parent with cancer in the Chicagoland area (Chicago, Milwaukee and northwest Indiana region). In addition, we are offering a Teen Camp for the third year that is open to 14-16 year olds. Camp Kesem Northwestern is a secular camp and is open to all children regardless or race, religion, color, national origin or financial status. Camp Kesem is completely free of charge.
Our Camp Site
Camp Kesem Northwestern will be held at YMCA Camp MacLean in Burlington, WI. Bus transportation will be provided from Northwestern University to and from camp. YMCA has a wide range of activities available such as archery, surrounding nature trails, and a lake. Typical Activities campers will be engaged in will include: swimming, sports, threater, crafts, rowing, adventure outings, arts & crafts, ropes courses and much much more!
In addition, we are excited to announce that once again we will offer Teen Camp for teens ages 14-16. Teen Camp is accepting 20 campers.
