A part of Camp Kesem’s mission is “to allow college students to channel their passion for making a difference, while developing critical leadership skills for long term social impact”.
This mission is supported by the great need during the academic year to prepare for camp and there are many niches for anyone to get involved. Because Camp Kesem is a student-run organization, all aspects of camp are organized and run by University student leadership.
Four committees, each headed by two to three coordinators, work together to make Camp Kesem at UCLA happen every year: Camp Programming & Administration, Camper Care, Fundraising, and Student Support. If you are interested in helping in one or more of these committees, please contact our student support coordinators at ucla@campkesem.org. Volunteers
Throughout the year, Camp Kesem at UCLA holds fund-raising and public relations events, as well as camper reunions. If you or anyone you know (regardless of age or university affiliation) would like to help, please contact our student support coordinators at ucla@campkesem.org
