Hi everyone!  My name is Sydney Kastner, and I'm a third year majoring in Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences and minoring in Leadership in the McIntire School of Commerce.  Along with being a Co-Chair of the AMAZING Camp Kesem at UVA this year, I was a Fundraising Coordinator last year and part of the Administration team at camp.  Camp Kesem is my favorite week of the summer, and I can't wait to see all of the campers in August!!

Like zoinks, man!  I'm Shaggy and I'm a 4th year psychology major, which means I can read your mind (but not really).  Other than practicing telepathy, I like to run, surf, snowboard, nap, learn new skills, and (of course) make sure Camp Kesem is awesome!  I pretty much live and breath camp, so I love eveything about it, but I especially love the large group games, like capture the flag and any tag game imaginable.

Hi! I’m a third year Biochemistry major. I love good pens, classical music, photography, the rain, anything Italo Calvino, chemistry, and pearls. My favorite part of camp was the shaving cream wars and color wars! I can’t wait for camp this August!!

Ello mate! My name is Vatsal aka "vat, vats, vatty, vatsapotamus, and a few rare time- vatapalooza" Patel, or even better known as Snaps! I am currently a second year who has not declared a major just yet. My favorite part of camp is seeing the campers laugh mainly from asking all the campers in my cabin in a sporadic and crazy manner "swimsuit?!" and "Shoes?!" before we leave for a magical day of fun! I cannot wait for camp to start back up so I can hang out with all of the great campers!

Hi, My name is Becca and I am a second year philosophy major. I am currently serving as Admin/Camp Programming Co-Coordinator and can't wait for Summer '11!  I love swimming, lakes, slip 'n' slides, water ballon tosses, basically any activity associated with water! My favorite part of camp is COLOR WARS! Nothing beats a Red vs Blue vs Green vs Yellow Capture the Flag Game!

Hey!  My name is Ashley and I'm at third year at UVA.  I'm studying History and Global Culture & Commerce.  This past summer I was a counselor for Camp Kesem, and had the best time hanging out with my six and seven year old campers.  My best memories of camp were tie-dying, the gold rush scavenger hunt, and playing field-games with all the kids. After camp the only songs I would sing to myself were camp songs, especially "Hey Burrito!"  This year, I'm the Student Support Coordinator with Tori, and we just planned an awesome Krazy Kesem week to raise awareness and promote our camp.  Volunteering for Kesem has been awesome, and I can't wait to work at the camp this summer!

Hey guys! My name is Tori and I am a fourth year biology and sociology major. I love swimming, hiking, spending time on the water, coaching, and photography. My favorite part of camp is the slip 'n slide and singing the hippo, moose, and milk song. This will be my third summer with Camp Kesem and I can't wait to spend another wonderful week with my Kesem family!

Hey, My name is Taylor and I am a third year human biology major. This is my first year on exec as Camper Care Committee. I was a counselor at camp last year and had a blast. My favorite part is definitely when the counselors and campers are all dressed up and deck out in their colors. At UVa I love participating in the Madison House Big Siblings Program, going for a hike or a run, and eating peanut butter.  I'm counting down the days until I get to sing the burrito song again!
