Meet the Team

Amanda 'Dolphin' Tannhauser: Purple unit cabin chats are always the best ways to end every camp day!

Allison 'Spaghetti ' Benschneider: One of my campers wanted to sit out of closing circle on the last night of camp and I convinced him to join the circle, but he wanted to sit on the ground so I sat with him and he leaned his head on my shoulder as we sang lean on me.

Madison 'Peppermint' Bonati: My favorite Kesem memory was having the opportunity to be a counselor last year. I was able to watch so many campers grow as individuals and experience a week free from stress!

Carl 'Thumper' Frasor: One time, a camper asked me if I wanted to be his book buddy for school. In that moment I felt so thankful for the opportunity that we provide the campers not only during camp but also outside of camp in their everyday lives.

Marissa 'Wisco' Olson: This will be my fourth year in Kesem, and I am most looking forward to making this year the most successful year for our chapter so far by creating fundraisers and activities that bring our chapter closer together.

Callista 'Astro' Staker: My favorite Kesem memory is when we had a newspaper fashion show and a camper drew her idea for a newspaper-dress design for me to model and we all worked together to make the design come to life!

Andrew 'Flavortown ' Mayszak: The campers boarded the "Flavortown train" in order to get out of the pool everyday. This consisted of me dragging a foam noodle across the pool with multiple campers latched onto it. It was always so precious to see how excited the kids were.

Kate 'Turtle' Hettiger: My favorite Kesem memory is my very first messy games!! I had paint everywhere and was getting chanced by a bunch of campers but loved every second of it!

Kara 'Sunny' Auchstetter: After being away from the campers for a day, I came back during cabin chat and they all ran up to me screaming my name, gave me a hug, and told me that they missed me. In that moment, I knew how much I meant to the campers and I cared for them.

Alexis 'Wink' Brinker: I am looking forward to getting to know all the campers and counselors better, not only from outside my unit from last year, but from both weeks too! These are the people who make Kesem what it is and I am so excited to be a bigger part of the magic!

Danielle 'Tink' Palmieri: My favorite Kesem memory is playing games in the pool with the Periwinkle kids, especially when we finally got Ninja to swim for the first time in the shallow end.

Jenna 'Ladybug' Roecker: This year I look forward to trying a new coordinator role as I was an AMP coord last year. As it's my senior year, I can't wait to experience one more year of Kesem magic.

Justine 'Jibbitz' Gorzny: My favorite memory of Kesem is my first day of the week of camp and everyone was so welcoming and excited to have the best week of their year. I am looking forward to being part of the behind the scenes action that makes Camp Kesem possible.

Matt 'Squints' MacArthur: I am looking forward to learning more about Kesem behind the scenes and help make this year the best year of Kesem possible

Molly 'Smiles' Bastida: I am looking forward to working with all of our amazing counselors and other coords to make this year the best year yet!
