Jennifer “Breeze” Cedillo: Hellooo, friend! I’m Breeze! I’m a Senior Liberal Studies major and aspiring SPED Teacher here at Fresno State. This will be my fourth year in Kesem and I am SOO excited to serve as Co-Director for our chapter’s fifth year. CK is undeniably my happy place—nothing can top hearing the giggles and seeing the silliness from our kiddos at camp. Even though Kesem is life, when I have some downtime you can find me sipping on tea, singing the “OH, a milkshake” song to myself, or diving into a good book!
Greyson “Googie” Canterbury: Hi, friends! My name is Googie and I’m a third year Spanish major with a minor in Vocal Performance. I’m beyond stoked to serve as chapter Co-Director as we enter our fifth year! When I’m not busy helping plan the most magical week of the year, you can catch me drinking (far too much) coffee and sinnngingggg! Having taken a year off Kesem to travel with Karl through more than 14 countries, I am back and more excited than ever to see how Kesem continues to change lives here in the Central Valley!
Chloe “Calico” Vanderzwaag: Hello beautiful people!! My name is Calico! I’m a fourth year here at Fresno State studying Business Marketing and am SUPER pumped to be an AMP Co-Coordinator this year!! Even though this is my first year of Kesem, it’s safe to say that I’ve already fallen in love with the many people that make this organization so amazing—I cannot wait to see how our chapter grows to serve the campus and greater Fresno community.
Micah “Specs” Olivas: My name is Specs, I’m number ONE, my AMP position has just begun! If you see my team, respect the drive ‘cause this CK chapter is turning FIVE!! YO! I’m a Junior Biochemistry Major with Minors in Women’s Studies and Physical Sci. I can’t WAIT to plan another wondrous week of camp for our kiddos and show the world how Kesem impacts this community. When I’m not coordinating photoshoots with Calico, you can find me behind the microscope in my research lab or on stage with my improv comedy troupe!
Kayleigh “Red” O’Connor: Hi! I’m Red and I’m a second year Political Science major at Fresno State. It’s my first year volunteering for Camp Kesem and I am so excited to work alongside my Co, Duckie, and these other amazing people to plan the best week of our kiddos’ lives! Outside of Kesem, I love hiking in Yosemite, reading in coffee shops, and binging Netflix with my cat, Sneeze. Now, I get to add Camp Kesem to the list!! I can’t wait to see our work pay off at camp in the summer!
Kindall “Duckie” Coburn: Hey ya’ll! My name is Duckie and I’m a Senior at Fresno State majoring in Liberal Studies to become an elementary school teacher. This is my first year as Volunteer Co-Coordinator and I am so thrilled to work with this amazing group to raise funds and find some help to create another magical week for our kiddos! Outside of Kesem, you can catch me playing with my dog, supporting local businesses (FresYes, amirite), and spending time with friends.
Alexis “Smiles” Fiorentino: Hi! My name is Smiles and I’m a Senior Liberal Studies major here at Fresno State. This will be my second year with Camp Kesem—last year I spent the best week of my life as a Red Unit counselor! Now, I am so excited to work with Sprinkles to put on the most incredible Make the Magic yet, which is sure to be a huge night for our chapter. When I’m not Keseming, you can find me living my dream of elementary school teaching in my local Preschool Autism Program, baking, or walking my pup.
Jenna “Sprinkles” Aoki: I’m Sprinkles and I am a Junior at Fresno State studying Kinesiology-Physical Education with minors in Physical Science and Food & Nutritional Sciences. I am beyond excited that I get the opportunity to plan this year’s Make the Magic with my co-Coordinator, Smiles! I Kesem because I believe that no matter the circumstances, kids should have a place where they can be kids. Outside of Kesem, you might catch me dancing with the Fresno State Dance Team or baking (way too much).

Chris “Pascal” Rodriguez: Yo! My name’s Pascal and I’m a fifth year Vocal Performance major at Fresno State! I’m majoring in Pre-Nursing with the hopes of attending nursing school! Eventually, I want my work to provide the support that I so often see at home—many members of my family have battled cancer and I Kesem to make an impact on those in our Kesem family who need that care. Outside of Kesem, you can catch me listening to music, binging movies, or exploring my family history!!

The kids of Kesem have given me a lifetime of inspiration and constantly remind me to be my BEST self. I hope to give back as much to the campers as they have given me. Outside of Kesem I enjoy cycling, hiking and doing hot yoga. I am excited to surpass our camper goals for another magical camp!
Narek “Narwhal” Khatchikian : Heyo! I’m Narwhal and I’m a sophomore majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. Last year, I joined this amazing organization as a counselor of the orange unit boys and made so many unforgettable memories. I’m thrilled to be involved with Camp Kesem again this year, especially since I’ve been entrusted with filling the position of Teen Leadership Programmer for its inaugural year at Fresno State! In my free time, I’m always down to play soccer, watch a good movie, and play guitar. I can’t wait to plan another amazing camp and take part in all the fun this coming summer!

In addition to the year-round support, services, and training we receive from Kesem National,
we are grateful to those who provide support to our local Camp Kesem chapter including:
Our Advisory Board who provides ongoing guidance to our chapter’s leadership team.
Our corporate and foundation donors who provide critical resources to help fund the services we deliver locally.
The many retail and service providers who offer in-kind support for our summer camp as well as many or our year-round services.
Countless individuals – including our families and friends who honor our commitment to Camp Kesem with their financial support and unwavering encouragement.
Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.
The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.
