Olivia “Mango” Di Santo: My name is Mango, and I am a third year Mechanical Engineering/Bioengineering major at San Diego State. Three fun facts about me are that I ride a unicycle, I am surprisingly good at shooting backwards trick shots in basketball, and I love anything and everything Kesem. I’m beyond excited to start this new chapter of Camp Kesem to spread the magic even more in the San Diego area. I genuinely cannot wait to meet all of our campers and dance carelessly all week long at camp!
Tyler “Dibs” Leptich: My name is Dibs, and I’m a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering major at SDSU. I have gone to camp for six years, and I am absolutely in LOVE with Camp Kesem! I really like listening to Hip Hop, driving fast cars, and camping. I absolutely can’t wait to see all of the amazing things that are to come this year in Camp Kesem’s first year at SDSU, but I must admit that I’m most looking forward to singing camp songs and hearing all of the amazing stories that people have to tell at camp this summer!
Amy “Twix” Moussa: My name is Twix, and I am a third year Business Administration and Marketing major at San Diego State University. A couple fun facts about me are I really enjoy photography and videography, listening to music, and playing basketball. I love anything outdoors and learning about people and their backgrounds. I am super excited to start this new journey with Kesem and am truly looking forward to meeting all of the campers. I truly cannot wait for all the new memories and all the new experiences!
Jada “Churro” Claiborne: Hi everyone! My name is Churro, and I am so hyped to be an AMP Coordinator for Camp Kesem! I am a third year Business Marketing major at San Diego State. When I am not studying you will find me giving tours around campus, eating brunch, binge watching a show on Netflix, hiking, or hanging out with friends. I love everything about Camp Kesem and am so excited for its first year here at SDSU. I am already counting down the days until camp and cannot wait to meet all of our campers!
Grace “Righty” McCoy: My name is Righty, and I’m a third year Communication student at San Diego State. In addition to Camp Kesem, I’m also involved in Greek life and Beach Volleyball here at state. I love finding new music and podcasts to listen to, working out, and going to the beach in my spare time. Although this is my first year involved with Camp Kesem, I’m beyond excited for what this experience will bring! I can’t wait to get this year started and I’m looking forward to meeting all of our new campers!
Addie “Maui” Buencamino: My name is Maui, and I am a 3rd year Child and Family Development major at San Diego State University. Some of my favorite things are music, dancing, food, and dogs! I cannot wait to meet some campers who share the same interests as me along with ones who will introduce me to so many awesome new things. While Camp Kesem is new to me, I still am so thrilled to be a part of its budding chapter in San Diego and excitedly await all of the fun and camp love that is to come my way!
Sophie “Bubbles” Chance: My name is Bubbles, and I am a third year Electrical Engineering student at San Diego State. A few fun facts about me are that my middle name is Sunshine, I love to explore, try new things and build stuff! I can’t wait to go on adventures and explore with all of the campers this year!
Ashelyn “Fuego” Lutrick: My name is Fuego, and I am a third year Microbiology student at San Diego State. When I’m not studying I enjoy going to the beautiful beaches here in San Diego, and one of the main reasons I moved from Phoenix, AZ. I have never been to Camp before but can’t wait to experience it for my first time with every one of you!

In addition to the year-round support, services, and training we receive from Kesem National,
we are grateful to those who provide support to our local Camp Kesem chapter including:
Our Advisory Board who provides ongoing guidance to our chapter’s leadership team.
Our corporate and foundation donors who provide critical resources to help fund the services we deliver locally.
The many retail and service providers who offer in-kind support for our summer camp as well as many or our year-round services.
Countless individuals – including our families and friends who honor our commitment to Camp Kesem with their financial support and unwavering encouragement.
Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.
The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.
