Dante 'Potatohead' Jenkins: My favorite Kesem memory was during this past summer season. As an admin member during color wars, all of the campers, counselors, and professional staff were having the time of there lives. Everyone had a smile on their face, which made me happy.
Nathaniel 'Caveman' Iskhakov: My first year of camp, I was a U3 counselor. On my second day I had to keep ratio in a U1 cabin. In the cabin, a U1 camper started crying and I panicked at first and then my training came in and I calmed him down. He jumped off the bed and hugged me.
Salwa 'Salsa ' Raheel : My favorite Kesem memory is the time during one of the campfires, our unit got our unit leader, Moose, to lead the song Great Big Moose in front of the entire camp. It was the most exemplary team effort I had ever been a part of; it was iconic.
Juliet 'Jewels' Valdivia: When we played color wars with everyone!
Fabricio 'Febreze' Nolasco Ramirez: My favorite Kesem memory has to be color wars. This was one of the few events where the counselors were able to act like children themselves and it was a very fun experience.
Zac 'Isopod' Shearon: My favorite Kesem memory is playing soccer and gagaball!!!
Jason 'Kernel' Li: My favorite memory of Camp Kesem was the campers enjoying all the activities with laughter and smiles.
Stephen 'Stevie Wonder' Bruno: My favorite Kesem memory is sitting around the campfire and making s'mores, while the campers and counselors played instruments together for an impromptu jam session. The songs were wonderful, and it was an amazing experience.
Betty 'Taz' Bruce: This year in Kesem I am looking forward to working with passionate and hardworking people to bring light and love to the lives of children who are affected by their parent's cancer.
Lauren 'Ralph' Mistretta: My favorite Kesem memory is messy wars and color wars!
Stacy 'Genie' Shaji: My favorite Kesem memory was being at the lakeside after empowerment, watching all our lights flickering together as one in the sand. Seeing all of our lights shine was truly heart warming and magical.
Jasmine 'Sapphire' Chadha: My favorite Kesem memory would have to be color wars this previous summer. Regardless of how the campers were feeling all week, they truly embraced their counselors as friends during that moment.
Marjorie 'Wingz' Calle-Rodriguez: My favorite Kesem memory was color wars. All the kids had so much fun and we were able to connect to an even deeper level through playful wars. At the end, we were all colorful and happy. I can't wait until next year to see the campers again!
Kunika 'Rapunzel' Chahal: My favorite Kesem memory is having color wars with the campers. It's just so much fun so battle it out with the campers and to see their smiles.
Pooja 'Ajoop' Deshpande: My favorite Kesem memory was seeing my campers this year and being able to connect even more with the returners as well as connects with the new campers! We had so much fun as a unit together!
Thomas 'Buckets' Chum: My favorite Kesem memory was all the counselors and campers gathering around the campfire having fun throughout the week of camp.
Steven 'Neptune' Honovic: My favorite Kesem memory is from Color Wars this most recent year at camp. I bonded really well with a lot of the campers in my unit so it was really fun to just run around with them and have fun throwing color at each other.
Julianne 'Koala' Mirmina: My favorite memory was during my first year at camp. It was time for color wars, and I was running around with one of the campers in my unit and were just throwing colors back and forth. We both could not stop laughing, every moment was magic at CK!
