Ian “Pinto!” Lesnick: My name is Pinto! and I Kesem for the kids. I’m a senior double majoring in Spanish & Linguistics and I love to eat spaghetti!
Megan “Sea Lion” Boyce: Hi! I’m Sea Lion and I’m one of the directors for the upcoming summer! I Kesem for the kids, and I love to dance!
Fatema “Pisces” Noor: Hope, magic, and Kesem are the ingredients to making great memories, which is what keeps me coming back every year. I kesem for all the incredible connections I’ve made with every camper and counselor!
Maryam “Polaris” Hassanein: My name is Polaris and I Kesem for the campers and our community. I’m a senior majoring in Health Science. I love maps and globes, and can name around 110 of the 197 countries in the world!
Michael “Milk” Gribbin: My name is Milk and I Kesem to give back to the community. I’m a senior double majoring in Economics and Business with specializations in accounting and marketing. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast with my favorite food being french toast.

Raeqa “Bubbles” Mahmud: My name is Bubbles! I kesem for the all the smiles and magical memories we share with the kids. I’m a senior Biochemistry major and Studio Art minor. I love lemons and all things sparkly.
Gabriella “Viola” Albanese: My name is Viola and I Kesem to bring happiness to whoever needs it. I’m a sophomore majoring in chemistry and minoring in music and I’m also a ballet dancer.
Sai “Coconut” Palati: My name is Coconut, and I Kesem because I love seeing smiles on the faces of the children. I am a senior and my major is Biology. I am also a big NY Giants fan!
Nathaniel “Caveman” Iskhakov: My name is Caveman! I Kesem so I can support an amazing community for truly wonderful kids. I’m a junior Political Science major on the Pre-Med track and I’m also a barber on campus!!
Ruchi “Hummus” Khatiwala: Hey CK! I’m Hummus, and I am an Community Outreach Coordinator this year! I Kesem for our lovely campers. Fun fact: hummus is my favorite food!
Dante “Potato Head” Jenkins: Hey y’all, I’m Potato Head! I’m one of the Community Outreach Coordinators. I Kesem to make everyone smile.
Kunika “Rapunzel” Chahal: Hi everyone! I’m Rapunzel, and I’m one of the Teen Leadership Program Coordinators! I Kesem because I love the campers. Fun fact is that my hair is really long!
Amiteshwar “Juicebox” Singh: Hello! My name is Juicebox and I Kesem to provide support and a safe space for children who have been impacted by a parent’s cancer. I am a junior majoring in Health Science and minoring in International Studies. My favorite hobby is to discover new types of food!
John “Maple Leaf” DeFrancisci: My name is Maple Leaf and I Kesem because I think its a valuable thing to take part in. I’m a senior studying civil engineering and I helped make a boat out of concrete.
Jennifer “Jupiter” Guevara: My name is Jupiter and I Kesem to keep the magic alive! I’m a senior majoring in Biology with a minor in Health and Wellness. I always wear fun socks!
Pooja “Ajoop” Deshpande: Hi, I’m Ajoop, and I am a Volunteer Coordinator. I Kesem for the community and to spread the magic. I’m excited to meet new counselors and see the campers again this summer!

Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.
The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.
Zach joined the Camp Kesem National staff in 2017 as a Regional Program Director. Before doing so, he served as Co-Director at the University of Richmond, where he graduated in 2017 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Zach now resides in Washington, D.C.
