Meet the Team

Ryann 'bread' Hawkins : CKOSU's Closing Circle- when we all sing our Kesem songs and end with Carmen Ohio-is stunning. During this, it really sinks in how connected we all are; There is nothing that fills me with as much joy and calmness as that simple CKOSU tradition.

Abby 'Duckie' Pitts: One of my favorite Kesem memories is from our talent show at camp. Last year, a unit 2 camper was dancing to "twinkle twinkle little star" and the smile on her face each time she spun around was magical. I love seeing how happy camp makes our campers

Hannah 'Hamilton' Weatherly: I love bonfires during our Fall Family and Friends day!!

Jake 'dink' Dinkins: My favorite Kesem memory is teaming up with Honeybun to wake up tiny toast every morning.

Caelan 'Cookie' Warnecke: My favorite Kesem memory so far has been messy games at camp! I enjoyed having the opportunity to get messy and laugh unconditionally with all the campers and counselors.

Sonya 'Jellybean' Kim: My favorite memory is seeing one of my new campers really get caught up in the energy of camp. She came in super shy and apprehensive and hid in the back at our 1st campfire. But by the 3rd day she was dragging me out to the front to lead camp songs!

Megan 'Guac' Frilling: My favorite Kesem memory is the teen camp out! I've been a teen counselor for the past two years and the camp out is a great way to get to know all of the teens better and just hang out in a more low-key environment.

Abby 'Putter' Singler: My favorite memory from camp is having one of the unit 2 campers protect me every time we played gaga ball.

Adam 'Zoogles' Duffy: My favorite Kesem memory is every little dance party. Dancing in Kesem in always such a special time.

Corinne 'Hot Cocoa' Rice: Helping one of my campers, Polar Bear, climb the zip line and getting to zip line down with her.

Ryan 'Catfish' Smith: Messy games at my first week of camp.

Ezgi 'crocs' Ulger: I'm looking forward to finding new ways to make the teens feel connected with camp and one another. Their humor and silly jokes keep me smiling year round.

Dominic 'Badger' Caracci: There are too many to choose from! I can't wait to continue working with the teens!

Austin 'Wakaju' Reifsteck : CAMP SONGS

Anthony 'Fun Size' Caracci: My favorite Kesem memory is when I first got to camp and Dark Shadow (who I had not met before) got me a shirt that said "I'm not short, I'm Fun Size".

Emerson 'Beesly' Goldenbagen: One of the first stories that comes to my mind is one of my campers from my first year writing my name on a rock & giving it to me so whenever I see it I can think of her. I have that rock on my bookshelf and see it everyday.

Ellie 'Caribou' Anderson: I'm looking forward to developing friendships with other members in Kesem!
