Meet the Team

Summer 'Lilo' Maxwell: My favorite Kesem memory is when I got to be a counselor while my sister was the director and my aunt was the camp nurse! It was my first year of camp and I am so lucky to have been able to share that experience with them.

Sam 'Princess' LeFew: My favorite Kesem memory is every time I see a new camper quickly  find a home and a family within Kesem.

Lexi 'Mole' Grossman: I cant wait for color wars, camp songs, an messy olympics!! I'm also looking forward to expanding to two weeks and being able to have twice the amazing campers!

Rachel 'Olive' Levinson: My favorite Kesem memory is stargazing with my cabin on the last night of camp!

Matt 'Lox' Gillam: My favorite Kesem memory is leading a closing circle this past summer with Lilo where we had some campers come in and share about their days and then had everyone come in close to sing lean on me. Can't wait for the next closing circle :)

Jamie 'Fiddle' Kang: My favorite parts of Kesem are empowerment and messy olympics!

Cameron Tarbell: I am so excited to be reunited with my campers and support them year-round!

Davis 'Beets' Mahony: My favorite Kesem memory is watching my campers support each other through Empowerment this past summer.

Aaron 'Nemo' Hou: Playing Mafia with my boys last year and this year!!!

Samantha 'Goldfish' Bonde: My favorite memory from Kesem was the Kesem Karnival because everyone was running around to different fun stations laughing and having a good time.

Jason 'Trip' Anderson: I loved cabin chats and getting to know my kids!

Jack 'Coyote' Dunkenberger: Seeing these kids grow and be there for each other year after year is one of the best things to look forward to! The impact that this organization has on these kids is so rewarding for all campers, counselors, and volunteers involved!

How Kesem National Supports This Chapter

Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.

The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.
