Armando 'Spidey' Gonzalez: My favorite camp memory was watching my group of TLPs get so close to one another throughout the week and ultimately seeing them sing and dance their hearts out during the talent show to wrap up the week.
Tomer 'Shakes' Fidelman: CK Davis is the all-inclusive, brunch buffet we all need! From new counselor bonding, to bake sales, to Make the Magic, to Friends and Family Days, to the magic of Camp, I know whatever I am doing in this organization - I will love wholeheartedly!
Hannia 'Leviosa' Barrera: During pick up, a girl that was not in my unit but I held while she was crying at empowerment, she came up to me with her mom before she left and she was like "this is Leviosa and she hugged me when I was crying". The mom gave me the biggest hug.
Marissa 'Corgi' Tillman: Every year of camp I look forward to the talent show, and every year it has never failed to make me laugh, cry tears of happiness, and feel inspired. It really shows how close every camper, unit, and counselor has gotten and how unique each of us are
Jake 'Meatball' Bentham: My favorite memory is the first day of camp when I got to meet the awesome kiddos in the yellow unit for the first time! I had been looking forward to camp for so long and seeing them all and talking with them on the bus made me even more excited!
Lauren 'Snaps' Ford: While it's difficult to choose a favorite Kesem memory, one stand out is the story of the "traveling rock" that my boys cabin and I took on adventures all week. This rock traveled from pocket to pocket, complete with a sharpie mustache!
John 'Fin' Liu: My favorite memory was seeing my limers go on stage during the talent show and dance the night away! Their energy was so contagious and it was so much fun watching them completely let loose and go crazy. I LOVE LIME!
Addy 'Kiwi' Newman: My favorite Kesem memory is always Messy Olympics! It is the perfect time to run around and disregard anything else occurring in your life. In that moment you can just be careless and free, and filled with so much joy!
Hannah 'Peaches' Bireschi: The newbie show my first year! It was incredible to have all my campers choose my outfit and makeup and basically turn me into a character of their imagination. Seeing their excitement from the stage was amazing and such a fun experience!
Alma 'Clogs' Meckler-Pacheco : My favorite Kesem memory was getting to know all the kids in my unit. It was so amazing to be able to feel so close and connected to these kids after only a week! I can not wait for this year of camp and to see all my campers again!
Alexander 'Captain' Dillabaugh: My favorite kesem memory is singing in the talent show along sing my unit while one of my campers played the ukulele.
Anna 'Cholula' Fox: On the first day of camp I was working with the 6-10 year olds, and some how a game of tag turned into an elaborate game of all the kids chasing me trying to capture me in respective hula hoops. The look of joy on all the kids faces was incredible.
Nathan 'Treble' Lemus: This year I am very much looking forward to being able to reach out to the greater Sacramento area to recruit new camper families! Having been born and raised there I would love nothing more than to share the magic of Kesem with my community!
Marcela 'Rio' Matheus: My favorite Kesem memory was seeing my 6 year old campers encourage one another to open up about their cancer stories. My campers are my role models each and every day.
Lillian 'Trix' Cheung: This year I'm looking forward to being one of the outreach coordinators to implement the importance of DEI in our chapter so our campers feeling welcomed in Kesem!
Dominic 'Fajita' Robey: My favorite memory from Camp Kesem, came from my last year as a "camper." This year I was able to go to camp with both of my brothers for the last time, which in turn made Camp Kesem truly magical for me.
Elsa 'Waffles' Jimenez: I look forward to the campfire, talent show, go carts but most importantly experiencing the true magic of kesem and being reunited with the best little humans ever!
Stefanie 'Taquito' Sanchez: My favorite Kesem memory is being reunited with my campers at events such as Fall&Spring Friends+Family Day. Being able to see their bright smiles once again brings me joy and makes me even more excited for the upcoming year of camp.
Ashley 'Tweety ' Worth : My first year in Kesem one of my campers expressed that she wanted to sing in the talent show but was too shy. By the end of the week, she was able to get on-stage and sing for the whole camp. At the end of the song, everyone stood up and cheered.
Dominic 'Chef' Faria: Being able to experience the teen empowerment ceremony with my younger brother, and hearing him share how much he looked up to me and how much he loves Camp Kesem.
Bhavna 'Sweet Pea' Kodira: My favorite Kesem memory was the Talent show during my first year of camp. It was so cool and fun to see the campers show off all their talents and be able to give them a space to express themselves completely. They really are the greatest kids ever!
