Dylan “Raffe” Skaggs is a senior business marketing major with a minor in nonprofit studies from Sallisaw, Oklahoma and is in his fourth year with Kesem. He Kesems “for the opportunity to create a positive impact on the most deserving demographic of kiddos while sharpening [his] leadership skills and empowering other students in the process!” Some fun facts about Raffe are he played trombone for 8 years and met Kesha once (and cried). He also loves food, traveling, and his Goldendoodle, Campbell.
Maci “French Toast” French is a senior advertising major and nonprofit studies minor from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She says, “I can never repay Kesem for what it has given me: the support and community I didn’t have when my mom was battling cancer, a decision to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector, more professional experience than I have received from any other outlet and a chance to meet some of the greatest kids in the whole world!” Fun fact, she had a novel published in high school!
Shelby “Sunshine” Brown is a senior political science major from Fort Worth, Texas. As a third-year member of Kesem, she says, “Kesem is important, because it provides kids with a safe space to be comforted by people who know exactly what they’re going through and allows them to be their wild and goofy selves free from stress and judgment.” Fun fact, her first job was being a mascot at a waterpark!
Tiffany “Nug” Doan is a sophomore psychology pre-dentistry major from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is in her second year with Kesem. She Kesems for the community. “There really is nothing like seeing the magic of Kesem in the campers and getting to be their friend during the best week of the year!” she says. Fun fact, she is an avid High School Musical fan and knows all the words to every song from the movies!
Dana “Danno” Antinozzi is a junior economics pre-med student with a minor in healthcare business. As a third-year member of the Kesem family she says, “Kesem was something good that came out of own mom’s illness, so I Kesem in the hopes that it will become the same light in our campers’ lives as it is in mine.” Fun fact, she got her associate’s degree in high school!
Debbie “Dirty Dan” Girma is a sophomore letters pre-law major from Tulsa, Oklahoma by way of Baltimore, Maryland and is in her second year with Kesem. She says, “Kesem is a community where college students get to cultivate leadership, support, and love with the strongest kids anyone will ever meet.” Fun fact, she played for the French Horn for 7 Years!
Garrett “Alfredo” Gappa is a sophomore history major with two minors in constitutional studies and political science from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is his second year with Kesem and he Kesems because he enjoys seeing kids smile. Fun fact, he has run a half marathon in Dublin, Ireland!
Karlee “MK” Marshall is a senior communications and nonprofit studies double-major from Dickson, Oklahoma and is in her fifth year with Kesem. She says, “I Kesem for our amazing campers who have gone through more than I could ever imagine. They deserve all the magic that Camp Kesem has to offer and more.” Fun fact, she can juggle!
Caity “Lil Bit” James is a senior public and nonprofit administration major from Edmond, Oklahoma. In her third year with Kesem she says, “I Kesem so that children can be surrounded by people that get what they’re going through, and so a child never feels alone through and beyond their parent’s cancer.” Fun fact, she has raised four baby squirrels into adulthood!
Katie “Nala” Doan is a senior psychology and biology double-major from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is in her fourth year with Kesem. She Kesems because “one week of camp with the sweetest AND bravest kids teaches you so many ways to love and be loved.” Fun fact, her biggest wish is to be a mermaid!
Chad “Lax” McMurdo is a sophomore public relations major from Keller, Texas. He Kesems because “Kesem campers are the strongest people on this planet, and they deserve to have the best week of their life and have an incredible support system.” Fun facts about Lax, he has 3 adopted siblings and got his start with Kesem in the Counselor-in-Training program two years ago!
Robin “Poppin” DeWoskin is a freshman health and exercise science major and Spanish minor from Overland Park, Kansas. In her first year with Kesem, she says “I Kesem for the opportunity to give back to the strongest group of campers who deserve an incredible week full of fun and magic. I also Kesem for the valuable leadership experience that I’m able to gain through the organization.” Fun fact, she went to all the World Series games in Kansas City in 2014 and 2015!
Jordin “Flipper” Knight is a senior civil engineering major from St. Louis, Missouri and is in her fifth year with Kesem. She Kesems to make sure no kid feels alone through their parent’s cancer. Fun fact, she’s never had a retainer or braces!
Faith “Popcorn” Peoples is a junior elementary education major from Pryor, Oklahoma. As a third year member of Kesem, “I Kesem to foster a community where these kids can laugh together, support each other, and feel endless love and empowerment as they go through such a difficult journey. I Kesem to bring joy and hope to the lives of these kids.” Fun fact, on a good day, she can lick her elbow!
Madison “Aqua” Morrow is a senior education and political science double-major from Altus, Oklahoma. In her first year with Kesem, she says, “Kesem is learning and growing with the bravest and strongest children around, gaining professional skills as a leader, and surrounding yourself with all things magic and love.” Fun fact, she interned in DC last summer and absolutely fell in love with the energy of the city!
Dylan “Stark” Shirallie is a junior finance and accounting pre-law double-major from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is in his first year with Kesem. He Kesems because he wants to make an impact in the lives of children who need support the most. Fun fact, he has studied abroad in Italy!
Trevor “Skeeter” Davis is an International Business sophomore with a minor in Spanish from Moore, OK. As a second year Kesem volunteer he says, “I Kesem to provide a support system for kids who feel alone; I want them to understand that nothing can ever bring them down. Kesem is a safe space for me and I want to give that same feeling to campers too!” Fun fact: he is joining the team after studying abroad in Italy!
Kaylee “KK” Marshall is a senior marketing major from Dickson, Oklahoma and is in her fifth with Kesem. She Kesems for the family she has gained through this organization. She says, “Nothing makes me happier than being with my Kesem fam and working toward our goal of impacting our children and their families.” Fun fact, she is a twin and they live with another set of twins, and her younger brother shares the same birthday as her and her twin sister!
Mitchell “Karate Kid” Perry is a senior psychology pre-PA major from Edmond, Oklahoma. As a third-year member of the Kesem family, he says he Kesems “to be a support system for these kids and to help give them happy, amazing memories that they will have for the rest of their lives.” Fun fact, he has been doing martial arts for 10 years and will be testing for his black belt in winter 2018!
Madelyn “Tuffy” Williams is a junior health and exercise science pre-PT major from Ardmore, Oklahoma and is in her third year with Kesem. She Kesems to help one of the strongest group of kiddos she knows go through one of the toughest things in life. Fun fact, she can do a backflip!

Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.
The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.
Dionna joined the Camp Kesem National team as a Regional Program Director in 2018. She first got involved with Camp Kesem in 2014 as a counselor and continued on to become a member of the coordinator team as a Development Coordinator and two-year Co-Director. She also served as a member of the 2017-2018 National Student Panel and 2018 Spring Events Intern. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a B.S.A. in Neuroscience and a certificate in Business Foundations. Originally from Howard County, Maryland, Dionna now resides in Denver, Colorado.
