Meet the Team

Madeleine 'Ice Queen' Nguyen: Playing 9-square and hanging out with campers, one year, our TLP 1 & 2 had an unplanned prank wars!

Jenna 'Espresso' Chun: My favorite Kesem memory was my first F&F day 3 years ago. I wore a leopard onesie, raced the kids (and lost), and my talent was flipping a water bottle and having it land. It took me 3 tries but everyone cheered me on :)

Kate 'Lemon' Horwich: I don't have one specific memory that I love over others, because every experience I have with Kesem is so meaningful! Experiencing camp for the first time last year was definitely the most impactful Kesem experience I've had so far though.

Karla 'Starfire' Chiang Solis: I'm looking forward to building relationships with coord and meeting new people within the Kesem community!

Madison 'Peaches' Jarvis: My favorite part of Kesem is seeing and feeling Kesem magic at work.

Kevin 'Hops' Ledezma: Seeing my chapter grow and watching my kids become empowered!

Grace 'Tails' Miner: My favorite memory is at the Talent Show this past summer, we all were just so supportive and happy. We sang along to all the songs, laughed at the jokes, and just enjoyed being together and celebrating our talents!

Sumaya 'Sunshine ' Smarony: I am beyond excited to meet all the children for whom we are planning these events and raising money for. I look forwards to being a friend and a support system for the campers while making lasting memories for myself.

Tara 'Flamingo' Ellis: My favorite Kesem memory is the messy games from camp this past summer. Everyone was just so happy and being silly and themselves and it was a lot of fun to see that.

Sarah 'Blankey' Arezo: My favorite Kesem memory has been meeting the new campers last year because it was my first year attending camp! I loved connecting with everyone, as well as being kids again. It was an amazing experience, and I am thrilled to be outreach coordinator

Rahat 'Cheesecake' Haque: On my very first day of camp, I remember being so nervous and worrying I wouldn't do well as a counselor for the kids. Suddenly one of my campers came up to me and introduced themselves. They told me I could talk to them and ask for help whenever!

Amir 'Amir Khozaei' Khozaei: Being able to empower a camper with positivity using a friendship bracelet.

Sravan 'King Curry' Sattiraju: I have a lot of favorite Kesem memories! I always look forward to being back at camp and just hanging out with everyone! Camp is a special time where you do fun activities with the campers and a time where you build friendships with campers!

Lily 'Lil’ Rocker' Ju: Last Friends and Family day, one of my campers had attended. She gave me a big hug, turned to her parent and said, “this is Lil’ Rocker. She’s kinda cool”.
