Meet the Team

Divya 'Zion' Jain: My favorite Kesem memory is Paint Expo with my Gold Unit campers this past summer! I am beyond excited to get to work with all our wonderful coordinator teams this year & to spread the Kesem magic even more!

Tatum 'Big Three' Sandzimier: Hello! I'm Big Three and I love going on road trips, visiting museums, surfing, and spending time with my three brothers! I am so grateful and excited for the opportunity to continue spreading love and light to camper families nationwide this year!

Tanya 'Osha' Alauddin: My favorite Kesem memory was at week 2 of camp this year when I taught my Blue Unit Girls ( 9-10 year olds) the cup song for a good hour and we all were just laughing our hearts out.

Adeline 'Zucchini' Belsby: My favorite Kesem memory was one camper opening up to me during luminary and sat under the pine trees staring up a the stars just talking about life and what Kesem means to us.

Guillermo 'Rojo Suavé' Mier y Teran: My favorite memory from camp was artfully decorating my campers during the paint war! I think blue looked really good in their hair.

Shaked 'Nala' Salem: One of my favorite Kesem memories is when a camper of mine came up to me and articulated some of the ways in which Kesem has helped him grow that week. One of these ways included teaching him to be a role model for his younger buddy at camp.

Brandon 'Sir Buttersworth' Deutsch: One of my favorite Kesem memories is canoeing with a couple of my Silver campers and another counselor during Lake Day, just laughing with each other and enjoying being out on the water on a hot day.

Nadia 'Captain' Polizotto: I’m so excited to become more involved in Kesem through Make the Magic! I think it’s so incredible that we can bring camp back to the real world for one beautiful night, and I can’t wait to get started!

Ethan '' Hessl: I’m looking forward to OLYMPIC CAMP this year!!! I’m super stoked to have games and activities at camp related to the theme :0

Cheyne 'Boots' Ostrander: I'm looking forward making all the magical moments I'm so fond of happen as a member of our Operations Team!

Marisol 'Jazzy' Trejos: One of my favorite camp memories is the talent show at the end of the week. I love seeing my campers go on stage, especially when a shy camper goes up and squashes it because then I feel like I did my job to make a safe and fun space for them.

Marisol 'Jazzy' Trejos: One of my favorite camp memories was when I was the unit leader for blue unit. Two of my campers came up to me full of excitement asking to go canoeing with them. I was so happy to just be on the lake and see the fish and dragonflies with them!

Autumn 'Pugz' Frlekin : As an outreach coord, I am looking forward to getting to know our chapter's families better this year!

Alexandra 'Tango' Dobson: One of my favorite Kesem memories was watching shooting stars and talking about what they mean. It was a really special moment and now every time I see a shooting star I think of my little green unit camper!

Talya 'Poppy' Kurzrock: My favorite Kesem memory is the amazed smiles on my campers' faces when we erupted their paper mâché volcano in the science rotation.

Phillip 'Oregano' de Lorimier: I've never laughed harder in my life than when one of my campers did an impression of me and dubbed me a "tree-sniffer" during Stage Night, a nickname I earned because I love to teach my campers how to tell different trees apart by smell!

Carly 'Wazowski' Miller: This summer, I was lucky to have almost an entire unit of campers that I have had since my first year at camp! Our bonds are so strong, and I loved getting to lie under the stars with them at Luminary, listening to music and sharing sweet memories.
