Kesem is a nationwide community driven by over 4,500 passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent's cancer. Our flagship program, Camp Kesem, provides over 100 weeks of free summer camp to over 7,300 children from coast-to-coast who have been impacted by a parent's cancer.
Camp Kesem boasts over 100 chapters across the country - all run by highly motivated college student leaders who work together during their school year to organize all aspects of their local camps - which are held at fantastic, fun sleep-away campsites.

In addition to providing life-changing support to these children, you'll receive extraordinary life and leadership skills as part of the Kesem family. In addition to demanding academic, work and social schedules, our college student leaders dedicate on average 10-15 hours/week to Camp Kesem as they commit to a year-long position managing every aspect of their camp including:
